You know that meme? Yeah, that's basically my whole brand.
I'm Nic - an Associate CIPD qualified HR consultant based in Warwickshire, with over 20 years of experience helping SMEs across the Midlands handle their messiest people challenges.
I've worked in boardrooms and on factory floors, in care homes and dental practices, in charities and engineering companies. And in every single one of those places, the people stuff was complicated, emotional and - when handled badly - really expensive.
That's where I come in.
Why Radar HR?
There's a reason I called it Radar HR - and it's not just a cool logo.
I'm a late-diagnosed autistic ADHDer. And for as long as I can remember, my brain has worked like a radar.
While everyone else is focused on the obvious problem - the loud complaint, the difficult employee, the thing causing the most noise - I'm quietly clocking something else entirely. A pattern. A contradiction. A small, seemingly unassuming detail that nobody's paid attention to.
Fix that one thing? And watch the dominoes fall.
My brain processes facts and emotion simultaneously - like an algorithm that runs on both data and instinct. I ask the questions other people are afraid to ask. In investigations, I spot the contradictions between accounts. In documents, I catch the gaps between policies that nobody noticed were there. In complex employee relations cases, I see the thread that connects everything.
It's not magic. It's just how my brain works.
And after 20 years in HR - it turns out it's pretty useful.
